Acerbus Vindictum is a corporation founded with the goal of becoming a significant mercenary presence in the world of Eve, ultimately accomplishing contracts for clients as well as efficiently protecting its own members, allies and assets. As such, AV has a significant emphasis on combat activities, especially training and PvP. We strive to become a close-knit, deadly combat fleet where each member sacrifices for the team and has a group of pilots that are willing to do the same for them.

As a combat focused corporation, we must support and build our fleet, both financially as well as through membership. To that end, we spend a good deal of time running NPC combat missions for isk, salvaging those missions for wreckages, and utilizing these parts for rig production. We also produce our own supplies to stock corporation hangars for member use, and as such have no aversion to occasional mining operations for the purpose of building mineral stockpiles. Once finances are dealt with, we spend extensive time training pilots for combat via organized training sessions and building upon learned skills through low sec PvP. We believe that a strong member base and a strong financial base combine to form a strong fleet, most able to accomplish client contracts and military objectives.

As a mercenary corporation, we do not consider ourselves pirates, though we may appear as such to our targets upon occasion due to the necessities of combat. This said, we hold to a standard of professionalism and intelligent, tactical combat. We believe honor is important and will not tolerate anyone who does not hold this same standard, as we believe the individual reflects upon the corporation as a whole. In line with these standards, we DO NOT:

• Smack-talk under any circumstance, with silence of local channel in a combat situation being a strictly enforced policy
• Abuse our powers by attacking players with little knowledge of the game, also known as griefing
• Steal ore in any way, shape, or form outside of client contract
• Pod except in extreme cases

Building a coherent, effective fleet requires sacrifice from every member. As a member of Acerbus Vindictum, you will be taxed 10% on all NPC contributions to your wallet. You will also be required to base your operations out of one of our fully operational offices to enable working with other members of the team and must follow corporation combat policies as listed above. Any theft or intentional detriment to the corporation or its members is grounds for unconditional, repeated podding. However, we realize that our members have lives, families, etc. and that Eve is in the end, just a very involving game. There are no required meetings or events, and you will not be booted for inactivity provided notification to management is provided before hand and you return within a reasonable amount of time.

Acerbus Vindictum cares about each of its members. Corp funds are used for the benefit of the members to stock hangars with ammunition and modules within reason, as well as assist in recovery of lost ships in certain situations. We do our best to defend our members, and consider an attack upon one as an attack upon the whole. In the end, the corporation wants to make the game fun for all of its members, and management takes action to accomplish this in whatever means is deemed best.

Currently the corporation is in a building phase, looking to avoid large scale conflict and extensive wars in favor of building membership and training pilots. We are currently establishing a lose confederation of friendly corporations to work towards an eventual alliance, as well as considering .0 access rights.
